How time flies: Kobe Byrant wore the ‘Chaos’ on Christmas Day – all the way back in 2009. A decade on, the Batman villain Joker-inspired colourway is set to return for Boxing Day 2019, with the Protro treatment.

This means they appear the same, but the sole is tweaked with contemporary cushioning technology and material for a ‘retro’ sneaker that performs with today’s best basketball shoes. It looks like Nike are retaining the OG Flywire construction, but the padding looks plusher. Regardless, they look pretty good and have aged rather well.

December 26 is the day the ‘Chaos’ returns to Nike retailers.
