It initially released as a collaboration that hit shelves in April of this year, stirring some early hype. Months on, and the Converse Chuck 70 Utility has now released as a GR version in a select number of colourways. Here’s a look at the Steel/Egret joint that’s arrived on shelves already.
The structure of the Converse Chuck 70 Utility has remained unchanged since it was first created by Jones. Opting for the classic Chuck 70 shape, with some noticeable structural tweaks, canvas remains as the base, while the upper has been encased in plastic for protection. The midsole has also been doubled in size, with a wave-like notch that can be seen along each side.
