The FTC x Nike SB Dunk Low Colab Releases Soon
releases seem to have a particular susceptibility to early leaks and potential party spoiling. FTC’s upcoming collaboration wasn’t immune to broken embargoes, but one aspect that they were able to keep under wraps was the release details, which have finally been made public.
FTC is a San Francisco skate brand with outposts in Japan and Spain, and enjoyed a solid colab with Nike SB called the ‘Finally’. While that rendition was of the no-nonsense board-ready variety, this upcoming effort is a little more ornamental. FTC have drawn on the relaxing bath houses situated throughout Japan, which is expressed by the embossed ceramic white leather overlays to reference tiled surfaces. This is paired to light blue suede toe boxes, mid panels, ankle collars, and tongues, complemented further by the ice blue outsoles. Elsewhere, yellow lining adds a third contrast colour, and a silver Swoosh is a polished touch. Finally, FTC leave their marks on the tongue labels, embroidered heel tabs, and custom insole branding.
The FTC x Nike SB Dunk Low will release on July 21 via Nike SNKRS – just in time for the Summer Games in Tokyo. Need help getting that W? Check out the latest advice from the Swoosh .
