The Levi’s Vintage Clothing x Clarks Colab Drops Today
are on a bit of a collaborative streak at the moment, and their is only growing, thanks to a new effort with Vintage Clothing. This triple colab consists of crepe-soled favourites in the Desert Boot, , and Weaver.
LVC is the heritage arm of Levi’s, and this sub-brand goes beyond the archival denim that the label is best known for. As such, this Clarks colab isn’t an indigo denim-tinged drop – it couldn’t be any further from that. Vibrant colours in line with LVC’s new ‘Loose Fix’ collection inform the candy hues rendered via sweet suede.
The Desert Boot, a staple of Clarks’ collection since 1950, sticks to its suede construction and features very bright blue uppers, with the vamp having a particularly nappy finish. It’s finished with light purple laces and a Levi’s tab on the lateral edge.
The Wallabee, perhaps Clarks’ contemporary hero (but actually a child of the late 1960s), thinks pink and again has a twin-textured suede finish like its Desert Boot cousin, and is accented by orange laces and tabs.
Finally, the Weaver, sort of an alternative off-shoot from the Wallabee, returns in a big way after a brief dormancy, with mustard finishes and an extra tumbled leather ankle collar trim. Very tasty.
Keen on the Levi’s Vintage Clothing x Clarks collaboration? Act quick, because they’re set to drop on Levi’s and Clarks’ websites within hours of today, June 11.
