The National Parks Foundation Takes the adidas ZX 8000 to Yellowstone
The National Parks Foundation x collection continues! Leaving their at Oregon’s Crater Lake National Park, the duo have now picked up the and set their sights on Yellowstone National Park.
The National Parks Foundation is the official charity that covers 418 National Parks in the United States, and over the past few months they’ve been collaborating with adidas to highlight some of their sites using the famed ZX series. You may have seen the that puts California’s Joshua Tree National Park on the map.
This Yellowstone-inspired ZX 8000 rocks a colourway packed with earthy tones, as ‘Tech Copper’ acts as the main attraction, alongside the complementary ‘Linen’ and brown hues. Down below, Team Trefoil add a pop of yellow that draws the eyes and splashes of blue through the upper and laces. Instead of the usual branding, the duo have opted for a graphic patch on the tongue, and specialised National Parks Foundation branding on the heel pull tab and insole. While the shoe boasts an inspired colourway, it’s also ready to hit Yellowstone’s trails, with the top half rocking the sturdy and bottom injected with Torsion tech.
