The New Balance 577 Sees Some Suede

Let’s face it: no one actually runs in anymore. So, the Flimby-made heritage model goes full Friday casual with fun suede makeups. This latest purple, aqua, black and yellow number looks like something SNS would mock up.

The hallmarks of an excellent NB build are all present: lush pigskin suede, close-knit mesh, plush microfibre lining, and that supportive ENCAP midsole. Thankfully, despite the combination of colours on paper, the actual execution avoids becoming rainbow barf and is nicely balanced.
