The Nike ACG Mountain Fly Low Looks Like a ‘Fossil Stone’
sub-label has completely pivoted since Errolson Hugh’s tech-wear aesthetic took over in the 2010s, carving out a niche for themselves in the GORP/lifestyle space. The average ACG customer wants to go from navigating the concrete jungle to harsh mountain climbs while still looking as fly as possible.
Most recently, All Conditions Gear have paid close attention to their already extensive footwear line to deliver some absolute bangers! The Mountain Fly was a shining example and, despite its hefty retail price and out-there design, it sold out fairly quickly. Continuing that momentum, ACG have followed up with a low-top rendition in a ‘Fossil Stone’ colourway.
Perfect for the swaggy hiker, not only does it look aesthetically pleasing, it also boasts a bunch of tech. Starting down below, the gargantuan midsole has been crafted using React foam, made even more sturdy with a Flyplate and durable, rugged outsole. Moving on, the upper has been built using webbed nylon to protect wearers from any element, and is elevated with the use of the obscure lacing system. Completing the design iOS, there is massive ACG branding plastered along the lateral side.
The Nike ACG Mountain Fly Low in the ‘Fossil Stone’ colourway is the perfect representation of the sub-label, and will hit select retailers like Asphaltgold on February 11.
