The Nike Air Force 1 High Boot is Built for Business
‘Winterising’ well-known sneaker models has grown increasingly popular in recent years, and now it seems are bolstering their legendary for those who still want to flex when the conditions outside are less than ideal. Rejigging the High version of the omnipresent AF-1, this design rocks an uncanny resemblance to the that recently hit newsfeeds across the sneakersphere – minus the ‘GORE-TEX’ branding on the lateral sides.
Just like those co-branded GORE-TEX iterations, these guys sport the special outsole tread, which is expected to give you way more traction than those ‘dad joke’ memes you keep posting on social media. Other design features include the ankle strap that’s synonymous with Air Force 1 Highs, plus ‘AIR’ branding on the midsole that seems to be written in a much bolder font than normal.
This release opts for a black, red and white scheme, because who doesn’t love that colour combo somewhere in their rotation – especially when it has a Swoosh on it? You can thank a certain for that .
Specific release details are sketchy at this point, but pairs are expected to start surfacing as the weather gets a little colder in the northern hemisphere.
