The Nike Air Huarache Dips Back Into ‘Deep Magenta’
The is building a super strong 2021, with new releases appearing on the regular. Featuring prominent highlight hues of ‘Aquatone’ and ‘Deep Magenta’, this scheme is actually the retro of an early-90s colourway, which is sure to please long-time fans of the Hua.
This latest Huarache colourway joins a growing bunch of looks for the silhouette that’s celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Prominent highlights among those offerings include the , , loud , and legendary . And there was also a scheme that hit news feeds last month.
The Air Huarache was inspired by Tinker Hatfield’s ‘less is more’ design language, the well-known Nike designer supposedly coming up with the idea while slipping his feet in and out of the neoprene booties found in water skiing boots. That techno-minimalism is on full display with nylon toe boxes, rubber heel cages, and leather overlays. Down below, cushy EVA foam midsoles with Air technology provide a super smooth ride.
Pairs of this ‘Deep Magenta’ Air Huarache are expected to hit shelves very soon at Nike and selected Swoosh stockists.
