The Nike Air Huarache Ripens with a ‘Bright Mango’ Colourway

The Nike  Air Huarache is continuing its subtle push back into the modern sneaker scene, emerging in a vibrant ‘Bright Mango’ colourway that’s sure to turn a few heads. A retro colour scheme for a retro silhouette, this rendition combines purple and ‘Bright Mango’ with the solid foundation of black and white.

This upcoming colourway is the latest in a growing list of Huaraches to pop up so far this year. Some of the highlights have included a tonal tango, the elusive ‘Escape’, the return of the ‘Scream Green’, and the legendary ‘Triple Black’. The concept of the Air Huarache was based on Tinker Hatfield’s ‘less is more’ design language, with the story going that he was inspired by the neoprene booties found in water skiing boots. And that techno-minimalism is on full display with nylon toe boxes, rubber heel cages, and leather overlays. Down below, cushy EVA foam midsoles with Air technology provide a super smooth ride.
