The Nike Air Max 90 Goes a Little Dotty

The  Nike  Air Max 90 is preparing to go a little dotty, after official pics surfaced of a tonal pair punctuated by multiple dots across its upper. Dressed in a combo of ‘Shimmer’, ‘Sail’, ‘Desert Sand’, and ‘Pale Ivory’, the design also features an icy outsole and heel badge, while the circular theme continues on the tongue branding with a look reminiscent of the good old Venn diagram.

So far in 2021, the AM90 seems keen to build on the momentum gathered during its 30th anniversary last year, emerging in designs that cater for a range of different tastes. Some highlights have included a  special speckled scheme, an  onigiri-inspired look, a  St. Patrick’s Day tribute, and even a  neon Miami combo for the golf course. Which is exactly the type of treatment that one of Nike’s most popular silhouettes deserves. In fact, one of Sneaker Freaker’s writers thinks the Air Max 90 is the best  Air Max design to ever come out of Beaverton.
