The Nike Air Max 96 II Re-Emerges In Patriotic USA Colours

The Beaverton brand are now exhuming a cult classic of the Air Max series: the celebrating its 25 anniversary in 2021.
Wedged between its two more high-profile siblings (the and ), the Nike Air Max 96 has already returned in its mystical OG ‘Golden Rod’ colourway this year.
Manufactured with a mix of leather and mesh, the latest USA-like colourway is composed in ‘Midnight Navy’, ‘Metallic Silver’, and ‘Cool Grey’. An underrated gem from Nike’s vast Air Max catalogue, the AM96 features five-star embroidery on the rear, while 3M reflective detailing again adds depth to the colourway. Down below, Nike bring back the original mould for the sole (the 2016 ‘retro’ of sorts used the sole unit from the Air Max 95 Ultra).
The Nike Air Max 96 II in USA livery is out now, directly from Nike. The retail price tag is set at $160.
