The Nike Air Max Plus Growls in Black and Grey
The already ferocious is about to get a little more menacing, after official images emerged of a brooding build that will be in stores very soon. The predominantly black colourway uses minor touches of grey to keep things brooding, while reflective hits give it a little something when the sun goes down.
The Nike Air Max Plus first arrived on the scene in 1998, and was the brainchild of industry veteran Sean McDowell. The hypnotic upper borrows its aesthetic cues from Florida’s swaying palm trees and vibrant evening skies. The distinctive OG colourway’s dusk-inspired blue fade and moulded palm trunk–like overlays left an impression on the sneakersphere that still resonates today.
