The Nike Air More Uptempo is so Gaudy, it’s Good

There are not many sneakers more obviously branded than the . With enlarged AIR panels stitched into the upper, they are actually superfluous to the basketball shoe’s function – but it adds so much character.

Especially when it’s a red-rimmed application against the deep black upper, matched to the red outsole that fades into the black midsole. Other details that are distinctly Uptempo include the segmented Air units along the sole’s length, plus alternating loop and hook eyelets.
