The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 Receives a Material Makeover
The unapologetic, in-your-face Cage 2 continues to crane necks across the globe, the silhouette recently empowered by high-profile collaboration in July.
Originally debuting in 2003, the Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 was designed by sneaker savant Steven Smith, the brains behind much of modern catalogue.
Featuring a cage Air Zoom unit for an ultra-responsive ride, the Spiridon is manufactured with a full-length, lightweight foam midsole and eye-catching rubber pods on the outsole for expansive traction.
Still a techno-futurist silhouette, the latest colourway to arrive is composed in a ‘Sesame’ rendition perfect for your Q4 rotation. Replacing the classic mesh construction with premium suede and oatmeal leathers, while synthetic pieces and a textured tongue add even more material diversity. Air-assisted Phylite midsoles also take the silhouette to new heights.
The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 ‘Sesame’ is expected to arrive over the coming weeks for $140.
