The Nike AlphaDunk Celebrates Vince Carter’s ‘Dunk of Death’

It doesn't get much more iconic than ‘Dunk of Death’.

Leaping over 7-foot-2 Frenchman Frédéric Weis, Vinsanity put his emphatic stamp on the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000, throwing down a ridiculous slam that sent reverberations across the globe. In what the French later dubbed ‘le dunk de la morte’, the latest performance silhouette from the Swoosh takes cues from the Team USA uniforms of that year, the   featuring a team USA badge on the medial heel and ‘Dunk of Death’ printed insoles.

The Nike AlphaDunk ‘Dunk of Death’ drops August 30.
