The Nike Dunk Revival Continues with the ‘Plum’
For some sneakerheads who have been around the block a few times, 2020 might be a case of déjà vu. The ‘Plum’ is returning, after its first release almost 20 years ago. This follows the recent retro of the edition for its third run.
Originally released in 2001 under the co.jp line, and part of the ‘Pro B’ range, this all-suede Dunk was once a sleeper hit before the SB revolution happened. Nike hinted at this purple colourway in 2011 with a SB Dunk High ‘retro’, but in 2020 it’ll be in OG Dunk Low form. Most details have been replicated… but some purists will note the lace width is narrower on this retro.
In any case, it’s unlikely these will slip under the radar like before, so mark your calendars for February 7.
