An indomitable presence in catalogues across the globe, the Tuned does much of its heavy-lifting in markets like France and Australia, where the in-your-face uppers with open arms.
The two latest colourways to emerge dress their uppers in denim twill, the toned-down renditions turning down the lights on one of Nike’s most recognisable sneakers. Overhauling the traditional mesh base with the more rugged denim material, criss-cross patterns extend across the upper, while classic TPU uppers retain the TN’s shiny exteriors.
With one pair blasted in rusty, metallic orange on the whale-tail midfoot shank, Swooshes, tongue branding, and insoles, the other pair opts for a more ‘murdered-out’ palette, only accenting the tongues, outsoles and insoles in metallic green.
