The Nike Zoom Freak 1 is 'Coming To America'

  shoe, the , is coming soon in a special edition colourway referencing the NBA star’s favourite movie, Coming To America.

As revealed on the Greek Freak’s Instagram, the partnership with Paramount Pictures means the sneaker is emblazoned with the movie title on its furry tongue. However, that is not the most radical part: the mesh upper features a dark leopard print and regal gold accents, alluding to character Prince Akeem’s royal dress.

Also shown on the Twitter account of Nike’s Media Relations Director, Josh Benedek, the shoes come packaged in a commemorative gold box with presumably faux flower petals. There is also a matching apparel range.

The ‘Coming To America’ Zoom Freak 1 releases on August 2 at selected Nike retailers.
