The Pharrell x adidas Hu NMD Appears in Black

Pharrell Williams and adidas’ Hu NMD has been quietly succeeding throughout this year. Location-exclusive releases have kept it desirable, and colourful combos have shown its versatility. Fresh off the back of a pretty pink iteration, boasting the hue all-over, we’ve just received word that a black-on-black joint is also on the way.

Taking a look at the pic above, we can see that Pharrell and Team Trefoil have placed their Hu NMD in a stealthy all-black palette, with the only contrasting detail being the white and grey rope laces. Boasting the regular attire and tooling, it’s been built with a cozy Primeknit upper, lace cage along each side, and two blocks surrounding the midsole.

Similar to the all-pink version, this one rocks a colourful BOOST unit down below, plus embroidered characters translating to ‘Human Race’ along the upper. Meanwhile, the adidas flex arrives on the graphic-heavy co-branded insole, and on the heel.

We hear that, in usual Pharrell style, this pair will be a location-exclusive, and will potentially be dropping on November 21 at select Trefoil retailers.
