The Salomon XT-6 Has A Brand New Upper
Over the past few years, French hiking company have made waves in the fashion space, with their shoes being adopted by the lifestyle market, despite being designed for the trail. The silhouette arguably making the most noise has been the XT-6, and Salomon have just revealed that the golden child has received a brand new upper! With the new look comes a brand new name! The updated XT-6 has been dubbed the XT-6 FT, and while the aesthetics are on-point, the technical side is also very good.
The most notable change is the construction of the silhouette, with the XT-6 FT boasting a more square-like structure when compared to its predecessor. We also see that Salomon have added a translucent mesh cage that covers the outside. Alongside the clean new additions is all the usual tech, such as the Agile Chassis System, EndoFit that hugs the foot, and the rugged Contagrip outsole.
Imagery of the new Salomon XT-6 FT has been circling the Internet recently, and after much anticipation they’ve finally touched down! A ‘Royal Lilac’ combo and ‘Rainy Day’ colourway have touched down, and are available now from select Salomon stockists.
