The Strapless Nike Air Force 1 High Goes White and Grey
The strapless is about to go white and grey, the retro-flavoured silhouette looking mighty fine in the clean colour scheme. The removal of the ankle strap makes quite an aesthetic difference to the 1980s high-top, taking the AF-1 all the way back to its on-court origins. ‘Summit White’ covers most of the shoe, while ‘Sail’ appears on the midsole, tongue and laces to provide slight contrast before the ‘Light Smoke Grey’ hits the side Swoosh, outsole and inner for bolder comparison.
Definitely a quiet achiever when compared to its low-cut sibling, the AF-1 High has been busy this week, notably with the arrival of an Air Force 1 High Utility 2.0 hitting the scene. Featuring a utilitarian buckle fastening system around the ankle, and a chunky outsole tread, that rugged rendition has so far emerged in and colourways. But if you prefer the stripped back look, you’ll be better suited to this strapless offering.
Pairs of the strapless white and grey Air Force 1 High are expected to be hitting Nike and selected Swoosh stockists very soon.
