The Vans Era and Sk8-Hi Re-Enter the Colab NEIGHBORHOOD
Pioneering streetwear brand have had over their 25-plus-year existence, and a regular partner has been SoCal skate legends . The two parties are now back together with a clean pack of dark-toned waffle classics, which are releasing very soon.
This latest collaboration comprises of the and . Both are constructed using a hardy combination of suede vamps and canvas quarters, which results in skate-ready sensibilities. They could also readily be used on the motorbike, as some previous NEIGHBORHOOD colabs have proven. A number of NEIGHBORHOOD motifs brand this colab, with ‘THE FILTH AND THE FURY TOKYO EST. 1994’ printed on the midsole taping at the lateral heels, and ‘NEIGHBORHOOD TECHNICAL APPAREL’ placed sideways on the heel counters, done in smooth leather.
In addition to the dark grey and black colourway, some other bespoke features make this NEIGHBORHOOD colab exclusive. This includes a blacked-out Vans logo heel plate, plus what appears to be mesh lining in place of the usual vinyl type. These Vans will also feature spongy interiors for extra street squish.
The NEIGHBORHOOD x Vans Sk8-Hi and Era will release via NEIGHBORHOOD on July 10, but it’s also likely select global stockists will carry them.
Update: the NEIGHBORHOOD x Vans collaboration will release in America on August 6.
