Since 2006, when this 1-of-1 Air Jordan 3 'Katrina' was auctioned off as part of  Hurricane Katrinarelief efforts, the retail release has been highly anticipated. After earlier this year – when a postponed release caused widespread frustration – the shoe finally has a concrete release date.

According to leaks, the shoe will be exactly the same as the sought-after OG pair save for Nike Air branding on the heel, which will be replaced with the Jumpman logo.
