New Balance continue to fire on all cylinders this year, the iconic Boston label linking up with the likes of Salehe Bembury, Bodega, and Bricks & Wood in 2021.

The New Balance 992 is also getting a lot of attention in NB’s collaborative division, the esteemed silhouette recently tapped by Levi’s, Paperboy Paris and Todd Snyder. Now, Baltimore’s very own YCMC (‘Your City My City’) are working with New Balance on the 992, the colourway spinning it right back to the 1990s.

Manufactured in a mix of mesh, suede and leather, the 992 is literally highlighted by the glowing neon ‘N’ branding on the sides. Utilising a palette of purple, blues and pinks symptomatic of the larger-than-life aesthetic of the 1990s, the YCMC x New Balance 992 is one of the more bolder renditions of the recently-exhumed silhouette.

Look for the YCMC x New Balance 992 ‘Rewind’ to release on June 17. The retail price is $180.
