This Nike Zoom Freak 1 is a Shoe With a Story

There’s nothing quite like a shoe with a story, and this iteration of the   really packs in the feels – designed as a tribute to  late father Charles. Dubbed the ‘Roses’ colourway, the silhouette is blessed with a striking white and ‘University Red’ colour scheme, while ‘Metallic Gold’ Swooshes provide a nice additional touch.

According to Giannis, ‘The roses are a tribute to my dad because he loved them. With every step I take, he’s always going to be there helping me.’ The rose theme continues on the outsole, with three large roses included within the multidirectional traction pattern – a feature that you can spot on more Freak 1s than just this colourway.

The outsole also boasts the powerful message ‘I am my father’s legacy’, a further tribute to the NBA MVP’s dad who sadly passed away in 2017.
