This Nike Zoom Freak 1 Is for the Family
is preparing to unleash another that pays tribute to his family, this time an ‘All Bros’ rendition for his four brothers. Giannis’ close family ties are celebrated here with a colourful version of the Freak 1, as shades of turquoise, orange, blue and black sit on top of an icy outsole. The design also references Giannis’ parents, with the names Charles and Veronica appearing on the medial midsole.
When an earlier ‘All Bros’ colourway released and , Nike said it honoured Giannis’ ‘belief that family runs deeper than blood, and that the same sense of kinship and relationship can be found amongst teammates and friends’.
