Renowned streetwear brand thisneverthat takes their talents to the . Founded by three friends in 2010, the Seoul-based label is identifiable by its unique blending of Korean culture with casual streetstyle, with a lot of the inspiration coming from vintage magazine editorials from the 80s and 90s. They grew to global recognition in 2018 with their Seoul Fashion Week debut and one publication called it 'South Korea’s answer to Supreme'. Since then, thisneverthat have continued to grow their presence and catalogue, most recently working with Converse to create a collaborative One Star Pro. This isn't their first foray into sneaker collaborating though, as they have done a number of releases with , including on the , , and the . They're also not strangers to Converse, having worked with the iconic brand on the and One Star Low in 2021.
Their upcoming One Star Pro explores vintage skate culture and will be accompanied by a clothing capsule as well. The project includes aged details both on the sneakers and fashion pieces while mirroring the brand’s signature style. The sneaker itself is crafted with a mix or weathered green suede and canvas uppers, contrasted by a white cracked leather star. The collaboration highlights the best of both brands as it emphasises thisneverthat’s roots and Converse’s timeless style.
