Todd Snyder Celebrates 10 Years in Business with New Balance 992 Colab

Update February 2, 2022: Following an exclusive pre-order late last year from Todd Snyder, the label's 10th anniversary 992 colab will release in limited quantities directly from New Balance on February 8.

With many fashion labels, big and small, churning and burning through the cut-throat industry, Todd Snyder’s eponymous label has done well to not only acclimate to the dynamic market, but take sartorial trends to a classier place over the past decade. Previous stints at J. Crew have undoubtedly informed Snyder’s latest success, which is now being celebrated with a commemorative New Balance 992.

Both brands are very much aesthetically aligned, with previous colabs parading the high quality build and exquisite materials of NB's Made in USA line. Snyder himself last picked the 992 as a collaborative base earlier this year for the ‘From Away’ edition, which was inspired by his trips to Maine. For this 10th anniversary colourway, he again chooses a personal reference by opting for a slate grey palette reminiscent of the skyscrapers dotting the skyline of the brand’s New York home base.

‘New York and its skyline have been a long-standing inspiration for me, and gray has been a signature color in our design since the beginning. So, for our 10th anniversary, I wanted to create a version of the 992 that felt like a favorite room in a skyscraper, a sort of gentleman’s library – a couch, bookshelves, a fireplace and a bar cart,’ said Snyder on the new colab.

Pre-orders for the Todd Snyder x New Balance 992 will open from December 1 at 11AM EST.
