There's a Snake in My Samba! Toy Story Colab With adidas on 'Woody' Samba

As one of the most iconic cartoon series of all time, Toy Story has received multiple sneaker iterations over the years, including with , , and even . are now taking inspiration from the series once again, following on from their that paid homage to both Rex and the little green aliens. The Three Stripes are aiming bigger this time though, with a rousing rendition of the for one of the stars of the show: Woody.

While there may not be an actual snake in this Samba, these Toy Story adidas Sambas have Woody’s iconic character all throughout it. Starting on the upper, the Samba features a smooth leather in brown to resemble his boots, while a lighter brown on the suede t-toe gives it some contrast. Textured blue Three Stripes nod to his jeans, hairy cow-print heel accents reference his little vest, and the sock liners tie it all together in the yellow and red plaid of his shirt. On top of all those thoughtful inclusions are rope laces, a print of Woody’s face on the left tongue, and an insole with a print of the cloud wallpaper found in Andy’s bedroom. All that’s missing is the ‘ANDY’ in black marker on the outsole, but other than that exclusion, the design is undeniably Woody.

The Toy Story x adidas Samba ‘Woody’ is imbued with character while still remaining wearable – it will land exclusively in kids sizes in April 2025.
