Update January 5, 2024: After a rather rough-looking early leak was published just yesterday, we've now been given a better look at Travis Scott's new 'Canary Yellow' Air Jordan 1 Low. Dressed in yellow, blue and white hues, the shoe is reportedly a homage to Scott's high school, Elkins High. Grab a look at the shoes here and stay tuned for more updates!

Update January 4, 2024: Midway through last year, it seemed as if Travis Scott was set to retire his string of Air Jordan 1 Lows for good, but back in December, it was announced that there were at least two more colourways left to come. Dropping alongside yet another Olive-toned pair, Scott has also readied a 'Canary Yellow' colourway, and we've finally got our first look at them. A slight departure from the mock-ups seen below, early images suggest the pair will arrive with blue Swooshes – and it already seems to be a polarising move. Check out the quick snaps from @xcsnkr here, and stay locked for more info as it comes in.

Just when you thought Jordan Brand and Travis Scott were in fact cooling their jets on the Air Jordan 1, more fresh rumours continue to suggest otherwise. There’s been rumours swirling that Scott and Jumpman weren’t doing the silhouette anymore, but those whispers are quietening down as rumours of another new release have popped up. First off, there were recent reports that there’s a ‘ Black Olive’ rendition due in November 2024. We’re still awaiting confirmation from Jordan and Scott, but there’s now additional reports of a women’s-exclusive ‘White/Canary’ treatment slated for a summer release next year. It seems the duo are in fact sticking with what works in 2024 and they won’t be easing up on one of their best hits anytime soon.

This ‘Canary’ women’s exclusive would be Scott’s eighth run at the low-cut version of the AJ1. A mock-up has surfaced from sneaker leaker @zsneakkerheadz, who also broke the ‘Black Olive’ colourway. Their concept art gives us a very early peak at what to expect from this freshly rumoured edition. The sculpture is anticipated to have a clad-leather construction, fitted with a blank white base and tongues complemented by ‘Race Blue’ Cactus Jack tongue tabs. The titular hue coats the upper overlays and spills over to the eyestays, laces, and sock liner. Scott’s signature reverse Swoosh adopts a jet black finish, adding a stark contrast to the primary soft and light tones. Underfoot the midsole sports a white dressing complete with gum stitching to complement the gum outsole.

This is early days, so there’s no leaked photos available yet. Stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for first looks and more updates.
