Since November 2021's Astroworld festival tragedy, has largely stayed out of the public eye – a striking change for a near-omnipresent pop culture figure who was never far from the headlines. Apart from announcing his initiative and popping up to perform at a few parties, we haven't seen or heard much from Scott in the last seven months, but that may be changing soon: rumours of a release date for his and colabs with are beginning to swirl.
First reported by , the rumours indicate that the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 in 'Baroque Brown' and 'Saturn Gold' plus the Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1 in 'Wheat' and 'Grey Haze' will hit Scott's webstore and Houston-based boutique Space Village on May 20 before arriving on Nike SNKRS come May 27. At the time of writing, these potential release dates are still pending confirmation from Nike – who did not respond to a request for more information – or Scott's camp.
Scott's Air Max 1s were originally set to release last November before Nike announced that they'd be after the chaos at Astroworld. The Air Trainer 1s were never given a solid release date, but they were on display at the event and worn by Scott and his crew during a the day before the festival, indicating that a release of their own was imminent.
