Triple Take: The KAWS x sacai x Nike Blazer Low

Three-way collaborations continue to be the modus operandi for several of the world’s hottest labels in 2021, with Chitose Abe’s sacai imprint leading the way. Busting out collaborations with the likes of Fragment, UNDERCOVER and CLOT, the Japanese label is now tapping pop-culture behemoth KAWS for a rendition of the Blazer Low.

While we’ve seen multiple looks at the sneaker ménage à trois, this is perhaps our best yet, the design joining the KAWS x sacai Fall/Winter 2021 ‘Wearable Art’ collection.

Revealed in two distinct colourways, the KAWS x sacai x Nike Blazer Lows again feature sacai’s signature stacked midsoles, tongues, shoelaces and eyestays, while KAWS’ iconic ‘XX’ motif strikes the tongue tags and midsoles. Emblazoned with exposed-foam tongues and misaligned midsoles, the sacai x Nike partnership is still one of the most lucrative in the sneaker industry.
