Try Again? New PlayStation Air Force 1 Colab Rumoured
Remember the 'PlayStation' from 2006? You know, the stupidly limited patent leather Uptown made to celebrate the launch of the PS3? The AF-1 you could only get if you were one of 150 specially chosen celebrities and Sony employees? Well, Nike are allegedly revisiting the concept, and this time they're opening it up to players.
Leaker reports that the Swoosh have produced an all-new PlayStation-themed design for release later this year. Mock-ups depict a predominately black design, with the four iconic colours of the PlayStation face buttons – blue, green, red and pink – speckled through the midsole and assigned to the Swooshes in mishmash fashion. Like the original, PlayStation branding is found at the heel and patent leather is still utilised in spades.
The Nike Air Force 1 'PlayStation '18' is not confirmed at this stage, but if the recent is any indication, the relationship between the brands is strong. If py_rates are correct, we can expect these to land in June or July.
