Tyler, The Creator’s Love of Dogs Inspires His Latest GOLF le FLEUR* Converse Colab
Originally teaming up back in 2018, California rapper and his label continue to expand their partnership with Converse, with the latest Chuck 70 Ox five-pack channelling Tyler’s well-publicised love of dogs – specifically the Airedale Terriers.
Appearing in several music videos across Tyler’s prodigious discography, Airedale Terriers have also featured in lookbooks, photoshoots, and even in his recent collection with The Airedale Terrier now makes its way to the and the preppy rendition is set to land in two instalments starting this month. Dubbed the ‘Darryl’ Chuck 70 Ox, the name refers to GOLF Le FLEUR*’s unofficial mascot: the good boy leaping on the lateral sides of the model. The Chuck 70 Ox appears in ‘Dachshund’, ‘Lemon Meringue’, ‘Margarita’ ‘Milky Blue’, and ‘Orchid Petal’ colourways and comes equipped with faux-aged white midsoles and chunky laces that evoke Converse’s skate history. There’s even a little extra fan service on the transparent outsoles with a graphic depicting Tyler carrying suitcases in a long trench.
