Tyler, The Creator Reveals Five-Pack of Darryl Converse Chuck 70s

is preparing a new crop of Darryl Paying homage to Darryl the dog, the brand’s beloved four-legged mascot, the collection features five remixes – ’On The Green’, ‘Apricot Cream’, ‘Salsa’, ‘Cooling Oasis’ and ‘Rose Quartz’. Each model features a subtle Darryl graphic on the heels and a bell hop graphic on the outsole.

Darryl, an Airedale Terrier, first made an appearance in Tyler’s music video Dogtooth in 2021 and quickly become a beloved symbol in Tyler's fashion and music worlds. Tyler even took his affection for Airedales to another luxurious level in a capsule collection with decorating bags, jackets, and pants with Airedale motifs.

It’s been a busy few months for the California creative. Dropping his seventh studio album Chromakopia in October, Tyler orchestrated surprise performances at Converse stores to promote the LP. This included a 30-minute set atop the Converse World Headquarters in Boston. Tyler followed up with a version of the Chuck 70 emblazoned with the Chromokopia branding.
