UNDEFEATED Announce Three-Way Colab with NEIGHBORHOOD and the adidas ZX 8000

After Sin Takizawa’s teaser last week, UNDEFEATED have confirmed their three-way collaboration with NEIGHBORHOOD and adidas. The full reveal depicts two colourways of the ZX 8000. This adds to the growing number of options on the market ever since the model’s 30th anniversary in 2019, plus the A-ZX Series has included plenty of the model.

As previously spotted, the Dellinger Web added onto the outer surface of the heel’s midsole is a unique touch on this colab. A more subtle modification is the zippered stash pouch at the top of the tongue – as used in the recent UNDEFEATED x BAPE ZX 8000 colab.

The teaser only showed the rear of the colabs, so now the full views have revealed the entire material medley. It turns out the faux carbon inserts are actually more like ballistic nylon, and the overlays are leather on the white pair and brushed synthetic on the black. Furthermore, the toe bumper accents are reflective, and the Three Stripes branding is actually thick canvas. Otherwise, the finishing touches are as seen, which includes co-branded NEIGHBORHOOD and UNDEFEATED tongue strips, lateral stamped typefaces, double heel logos. And, of course, gum outsoles.

The NEIGHBORHOOD x UNDEFEATED x adidas ZX 8000 releases on April 16 from UNDEFEATED’s webstore. Co-branded apparel will be dropping alongside.
