Up-Close Look: Nike Air Max 95 '110' Calls Out to London's Sneaker Scene
The is one of most beloved builds, and no city holds it closer to its heart than London, England. To celebrate 25 years of the 95, Footpatrol and Nike’s SNEAKRS app are coming through with an exclusive colourway.
First introduced in 1995, the Nike Air Max 95 was part of Sergio Lozano’s design vision, blessed with distinct wavy overlays influenced by human anatomy. Over the years, it has become entrenched in London’s sneaker DNA, earning the nickname the ‘110’ thanks to its OG price tag.
Nodding to the OG ten-pound note, the colourway dons distinct features like a 110 logo on the tongue, in-sock typeface, metallic foil on the heel, and the serial code on the orange Air unit. Each pair comes individually-numbered via a woven label on the inside tongue, while the classic grey fade mimics London’s cobbles, concrete, manholes, brutalist tower blocks, grates and bricks.
Official release info and pricing is yet to be revealed, but you can expect a drop at and SNEAKRS app in Europe. Stay tuned for more info!
