After linking up with last year for on both the and , Japan's VAINL ARCHIVE have returned with their latest piece of co-branded footwear: a special take on the .
The upcoming release opts for what's almost a blacked-out look, but with a twist: instead of merely covering the kicks in flat black, the VAINL ARCHIVE crew have gone with a washed black denim upper. That denim, along with the black accents, allow Vans' signature checkerboard motif to pop on the heel and the pattern lines the release, too.
Look for the colab to hit retailers like Tokyo-based come Saturday, August 3.
