The latest variant of the Vans Old Skool comes as part of the fresh-faced line, a new lifestyle-geared sect that debuted back in February of this year. OTW, standing for Off the Wall, mainly focuses on collaboration and hectic hybrids, like and colab.
The iconic Old Skool 36 boasts a titanic new build and comes kitted with iconic Vibram midsoles, which marks the first time the brand has used an outsole and midsole from the Italian company. The checkerboard pattern hasn't been left behind though, as it has been debossed on the cushy EVA foam midsole. Elsewhere, the upper has been constructed using the world’s strongest fibre, Dyneema. Also given an upgrade is the lacing system, which hosts an easy-on, easy-off, Fidlock system.
