Vans Vault Celebrates Iconic Frida Kahlo Artworks

 are releasing a trio of limited-edition sneakers as part of a collection, featuring some famous paintings of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, in conjunction with Banco de Mexico and the Frida Kahlo Foundation.

The  is rendered in smooth green leather on the toebox, tongue and eyestays, while the rest of the upper displays one of Kahlo’s most-recognised paintings, The Two Fridas.

The is a literal canvas for Viva la Vida, showing some cut watermelons.

And the shows perhaps Kahlo’s most iconic self-portrait on the upper panels, Self-Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird.

This pack is one for the art lovers, and releases on June 29 via selected Vans retailers, including SNS.
