The adidas Samba is the Perfect Canvas for Wales Bonner

Wales Bonner recently debuted its 2022 spring/summer collection earlier this month, a collaborative affair with adidas which actually marks their fourth time working together on clothing and footwear. For their latest round, they draw inspiration from the Three Stripes' archives, looking back to the retro aesthetics of 70s and 80s football gear and shoes.

Plastered all over Instagram moodboards have been the sneakers of course, Grace Wales Bonner's unique flair washed all over the adidas Country, as well as the fan favourite Samba. SS22 has seen two takes on the Country in 'Mesa' and 'Core Black'. And even more sort after are the Sambas!

Like the Country, the Wales Bonner touch gives the Samba an elevated, luxury take on the style in a cream white colourway, as well as a striking red rendition. Each features nylon uppers, matching suede detailing and thick contrast topstitching. With the devil always in the WB details, each pair is lined with satin and also come complete with crochet laces for your relacing pleasure.

They're due for a wider release on June 23 on the adidas AU web store and June 24 via the adidas US web store, accessible at the links below.
