WTAPS’ New Balance 990v6 Drops This Week

Japanese streetwear stalwart WTAPS have a long history in the sneaker space, crafting a plethora of collaborations across multiple brands. Since 2020, the Ura-Hara brand has worked closely with New Balance creating epic colourways of the NB992 and NB990v2. Instant hits, fans have been patiently waiting the next linkup, and finally it’s arrived in the form of a NB990v6.

For their third NB colab, WTAPS have kitted the upper out in their military-inspired aesthetic and made from pigskin suede, synthetic leather and mesh. Tonal grey dominates the entire upper, with complementary white midsole and lighter heel cup panels. Making their mark, WTAPS add ‘USA’ to the lateral heel and their logo on the rear and insole.

Looking to cop the WTAPS x New Balance 990v6? Pairs will be available via WTAPS channels through a raffle system that will begin on August 25.
