YCMC Receive Another Exclusive New Balance 990v3

After all these years, the New Balance 990v3 continues to prove it looks good in just about every colour palette and make-up. In recent years, it’s been enjoying some extremely tasteful make-ups across both General Releases and collaborations. On the GR front, there’s been these leather-dressed pairs, as well as this black and gold version. As one of the most revered silhouettes in the NB roster, it’s no surprise it’s received stacks of hot collaborations – the latest being via Teddy Santis’ work with NB.

In 2023, the 990v3 is set to reignite its ongoing relationship with YCMC. Last year, the US retailer revived an exclusive iteration of the model in a light grey iteration. For this next round, inspiration has been found in the notion of blazing your own trail and the outdoors. As such, its uppers’ hairy suede has been covered in dark green with matching mesh. Bright pops of colour are also peppered throughout, with orange reflective highlighting the ‘N’ branding and purple on the midsoles and tongues. Speckled detail can be found on the ENCAP cushioning, with subtle touches of cream balancing things out.

The pairs come complete with four lace options, one of which is a rope-style lace. A range of apparel and accessories is also dropping as part of the colab, and all will be available to buy on February 2 exclusively via YCMC and select locations.
