has kicked off the new year with a surge of footwear activity. Following the surprise launch of the $20 SL-01 Slipper, insider account has unveiled the next brand new silhouette from the label: the BL-01 or 'Bully'. This release marks Ye's third major drop since parting ways with adidas, succeeding the Yeezy Pods and SL-01.

Looking like a 2000s-esque skate shoe, the BL-01 continues Ye's exploration of slip-on footwear post-adidas. Rendered in a monochromatic palette, the BL-01 boasts mesh cu touts on the toe boxes and side panels. The fat-as-hell midsoles, equipped with serrated rubber tread patterns, nod to the more avant-garde vestiges from the twilight of the Yeezy x adidas era, such as the Yeezy Knit Runner.

adidas officially ended their partnership with Ye West on October 25, 2022 in response to his antisemitic comments. In February 2023, the two parties agreed to sell off $500 million worth of remaining Yeezy inventory and everything has , with adidas taking all Yeezy pages off their website.

As of now, official release details remain under wraps, but monitor West’s yzy-sply.com for potential surprise drops if interested. Considering the $20 price point of both the Yeezy Pods and SL-01, it’s plausible the BL-01 will follow a similar pricing strategy, though this remains speculative.
