YMC Go Full Madchester with ASICS Tarther Collaboration

YMC, also known as You Must Create, have just released another two new sneaker colabs with , on the not-often-seen Tarther OG. The London label tapped into their mid-1990s origins, paying tribute to the colourful ‘Madchester’ era that many Britons grew up in.

There’s a bit of anachronism going on here, as the Tarther’s 1983 silhouette is decked out in the motifs of the mid-90s. Notably, distinct ikat textile patterns cover the toe box and side panels, breaking up tonal suede sections. Leather laces boho-ed up with beads, and gum outsoles add tasteful touches. Of course, YMC is embroidered on the heel tab to denote the collaborative nature.
