The Yu-Gi-Oh! x adidas Superstar Channels the ‘Winged Dragon of Ra’

Anime and Manga-inspired sneaker collaborations have quickly become a regular occurrence in the modern day zeitgeist, from Dragon Ball Z to Attack on Titan, every major franchise has seen their own shoe. But in 2022, adidas linked up with one of the most nostalgic anime franchises of all time, Yu-Gi-Oh! for a multi-shoe collaboration inspired by the Blue Eyes White Dragon and the Dark Magician. It seems that the partnership is ongoing, because official e-comm imagery has surfaced of a Superstar that channels the Winged Dragon of Ra.

Similar to its predecessors, the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! x adidas Superstar comes housed in a special branded box with graphic insoles that show the mighty Winged Dragon of Ra. Most of the upper has been ensconced in white leather with metallic gold shell toe and Three Stripe side branding. The tongue, lace dubrae and heel have been decked out in Yu-Gi-Oh! logo detailing, rounding out this iteration.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! x adidas Superstar ‘Winged Dragon of Ra’ is available right now in Grade School sizing at retailers like Foot Locker.
