End of an Era: RTFKT Unveil Final Sneaker Collection

(pronounced ‘artefact’) was established in 2020 by Benoit Pagotto, Steven Vasilev, and Chris Le, quickly gaining recognition for its groundbreaking fusion of digital and physical fashion. by in December 2021, the brand reportedly held a valuation of approximately $33 million at the time, though the official purchase price was not disclosed. The acquisition symbolised Nike's ambitious push into the digital and metaverse realms. However, after a series of highs and lows, Nike are now RTFKT’s operations, which are set to conclude by the end of January 2025.

As a farewell, RTFKT has teamed up with – the 3D-printing innovators behind the – to release the MNLTH x Blade Drop. This final collection features six unique models: the RTFKT Dunk, CodeX Dunk, CYBR Stomper, Bladed Dragon, Undead Evo, and Reptile Evo. All of the designs are constructed with a classic Zellerfeld TPU polymer material. While we’ve glimpsed two of the models before, the CYBR STOMPER, Bladed Dragon, Undead Evo, and Reptile Evo are all brand new.
