Leak: Two New Jeff Staple 'Pigeon' Colabs Take Flight
Few animals have adapted to modern city living quite like the humble pigeon. The ubiquitous urban avian has made itself at home in the big smoke and its presence penetrated the streetwear scene in 2005 with the release of , designed by founder Jeff Staple.
In response to the riotous release of the Dunk SB, Staple has revisited his 'Pigeon' concept in a number of forms over the years, but it looks like there's two more set to take flight in the very near future.
The first, shared on by FILA FUSION general manager Cheng Po Kei Keith, sees the grey 'Pigeon' hues flock to the chunky , which has been reworked into a mid-top with internal bootie construction. Orange heel pulls are affixed at the rear and 'Pigeon' branding added to the sock-fit ankle in the silhouette.
The second upcoming 'Pigeon' design was revealed by Staple on his own account. Staple's image shows the heels of a pair grey-toned adorned with both the Staple 'Pigeon' and PUMA's 'Big Cat' on the heels. Staple's comment states that the pair is a final approved sample.
No release details for either Jeff Staple 'Pigeon' project have been announced at this stage. We'll keep you posted!
