Michael Lau's Collaborative Nike SB Blazer Low 'Salvator Michael' is Art!

Artist applies his collaborative brushstrokes to a brand new  . Dubbed the ‘Salvator Michael’, the sneaker is inspired by a key character in Lau’s COLLECT THEM ALL! exhibition, currently on show in Shanghai, China.

Naturally, the upper is constructed from canvas, which has been cut at different angles for a distinctive paint-like aesthetic. The white midsole is marked with staple detailing, nodding to the mounting of artwork canvases in frames. Meanwhile, Lau’s signature in gold can be seen on the lateral side towards the heel.

The Michael Lau x Nike SB Blazer Low ‘Salvator Michael’ releases on August 18 at select retailers and Nike.
